Iola Twilight Snowshoe Race

The fabled nordic ski venue in the glaciated hills north of Iola provides the setting for this one of a kind nighttime snowshoe race. The event starts at 6:00 pm and features a completely lighted 5K loop on the nordic ski trails. Even in the low snow year of 2013, the trails were still blanketed with snow.

All events start near the ski chalet at the Iola Winter Sports Club. The 5K loop features a combination of the blue and green marked trails on the nordic ski system. Refund & Transfer Policy
No refunds. This means that once you registered your entry fee will not be refunded for any reason by Great Lakes Endurance. Active.com offers entry fee insurance.
No participant transfers. This means you may not transfer your entry to anyone else.
No year to year transfers. This means you cannot transfer your entry to any future events.

Registration & Packet Pick Up
Early registration is encouraged to help with planning purposes. However, participants may still register Saturday afternoon from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Iola Winter Sports Club. Pre-registered participants pick up their race materials at this time.
Overall male and female winners in the 10 Km will receive a pair of Northern Lite Snowshoes. Winners of the 5 Km will receive a Petzl Headlamp. Equal Exchange Organic Chocolate bars will be awarded to the top three in each age group for each race.
