The fabled nordic ski venue in the glaciated hills north of Iola provides the setting for this one of a kind nighttime snowshoe race. The event starts at 6:00 pm and features a completely lighted 5K loop.

Course Descriptions
All events start near the ski chalet at the Iola Winter Sports Club. The 5K loop features a combination of the blue and green marked trails on the nordic ski system. All of the course is lighted.
Purpose
Proceeds from this race support children’s cross country ski programs at the Iola Winter Sports Club.

No refunds or transfers. Once you are registered your entry fee is not refundable nor can you transfer your entry to another snowshoer. $25 charge for cancelled and NSF checks.
Registration & Packet Pick Up
Early registration is encouraged to help us plan for food & supplies; however participants may still register Saturday afternoon from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Iola Winter Sports Club. Pre-registered participants may also pick up their race materials at this time.
Awards
Overall male and female winners in the 10 Km will receive a pair of Atlas Snowshoes. Winners of the 5 Km will receive a Patagonia Jacket. Local maple syrup, organic honey and Equal Exchange Organic Chocolate will be awarded to the top three in each age group for each race.
