25 Km Trail Run

The highly diverse trail starts near the beach at Hartman Lake and travels west and around Allen Lake before hopping on the Ice Age Trail. Runners take the Ice Age Trail south, taking a winding diversion on the single track created by Waupaca based Cronies Trail Crew. The course rejoins the Ice Age and travels south to the beautiful Emmons Creek Natural Area where it follows a loop on the Far Away Valley Trail before rejoining the Ice Age Trail. The Emmons Creek area features open prairie, oak savannah and pine forest. The course then hops on the winding Cronies single track before joining the Windfelt Trails which then return the runners to Hartman Lake and the finish.
Start: 8:00 AM. Sunday, September 7, 2014, Hartman Lake Beach, Hartman Creek State Park, Waupaca, WI
