| Hartman Creek Trail Run 2012 |
Join us for the third annual Hartman Creek Trail Run including 25K, 10K, and Kid’s 2K races. All events start on the beach at Hartman Lake and follow smooth single track through pine forest, past small lakes, through mature hardwoods, prairie, and oak savannah. The 25K utilizes a classic section of the Ice Age Trail as well as newly constructed single track courtesy of the Waupaca based Cronies Trail Crew. The 25K also travels through the fabled Emmons Creek Natural Area. 2012 Hartman Creek Trail Run Event Schedule
Registration & Packet Pick-UpRegistration available online only. The field limit is 300 runners (total of 25K & 10K). There is no limit for the Kid’s 2K. Runners must register by August 25, 2011 to be guaranteed a race shirt. Online registration will close on Saturday, September 8 at 8:00 p.m. Central. Packet pick up will be on race day from 6:30 am to race start at the Beach Shelter on Hartman Lake. REGISTER NOW Travel & LodgingNearest Airports: Appleton, WI or Green Bay, WI Events25 Km Trail RunThe highly diverse trail starts near the beach at Hartman Lake and travels west and travels around Allen Lake before hopping on the Ice Age Trail. Runners take the Ice Age Trail south, taking a winding diversion on the new single track created by Waupaca based Cronies Trail Crew. The course rejoins the Ice Age and travels south to the beautiful Emmons Creek Natural Area where it follows a loop on the Lost Valley Trail before rejoining the Ice Age Trail. The Emmons Creek area features open prairie, oak savannah and pine forest. The course then hops on the new Cronies single track before joining the Windfelt Trails which then return the runners to Hartman Lake and the finish. 10 Km Trail RunThe 10 Km follows the 25Km route including the trail around Allen Lake, the Ice Age Trail, a winding two mile loop on the new Cronies single track but joins the Windfelt Trails instead of heading south to Emmons Creek. The Windfelt Trails return the runners to Hartman Lake and the finish. 2 Km Kid’s RunA beautiful loop on the trail around Hartman Lake. The trail is wide with either dirt or grass surface. No refunds or participant transfers. This means that once you register we will not refund your entry nor can you transfer your entry to another runner. No exceptions.
